Do we have to purchase tickets in advance?
You are welcome to buy tickets on our website in advance but you may also pay upon arrival at the field.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, credit and debit.
Can I bring my dog or pet?
Pets are welcome at the field as long as they are on a leash. Expect to be greeted by our friendly farm dog Mint!
Do I have to bring my own bucket to pick flowers?
You do not have to bring your own bucket to pick your own flowers. We offer four bucket size options that you can choose from and then we wrap the flowers up for you to bring home. We also have buckets available for purchase.
Can I bring my own bucket to cut flowers in?
You are welcome to bring your own bucket to cut flowers in as long as it is of a similar size as the four bucket sizes that we carry. Alternatively, you may use one of our buckets to pick your flowers with and then you can use your own bucket to take the flowers home with you.
How long does the sunflower season last?
Sunflowers are in bloom anywhere from two to three weeks. However, this timeline is all dependent on the weather.
Will there be enough flowers to cut when I come?
Yes we have lots of flowers. The more the flowers are cut the more they will grow!
How long will the Secret Garden be open for cutting flowers?
Our flowers will be blooming until we get frost.
Do I have to cut flowers if I just want to see the secret garden?
No, you can purchase a general admission ticket.
Can I cut flowers for my wedding or an event to make my own arrangements?
Yes you are welcome to cut as many flowers as you would like. If you would like to cut a lot of flowers, we recommend that you bring your own buckets in order to bring them home.
How many flowers are we allowed to cut?
You can cut as many flowers as the bucket will hold.
How long will my cut flowers last?
Each flower variety is different. In general, flowers can last as long up to two weeks if you change the water regularly and snip the ends of the stems.
Is your farm wheelchair accessible?
Yes we are. However our sunflower trail and Secret Garden paths can be bumpy in certain areas.
Do you have washrooms at the farm?
Yes, we have outhouses available on site
Do you have any food or drinks available while we are at the farm?
Yes Charlie’s Chuckwagon offers drinks as well as Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream for purchase while on your farm visit.
So I have to buy the Photographer's Pass if I want to take pictures of my family?
No the Photographer’s Pass is for professional photographers who want to use our farm for photoshoots. These passes will allow for photographers to set up multiple client photoshoots in the same day.
I am a professional photographer, does the Photographer's Pass cover my clients' admission?
No, each client must purchase a general admission ticket either beforehand online or at the farm up on arrival.
Does a picnic table reservation include food?
The picnic table pass does not include food. So please remember to bring your own.
We are hoping to visit the farm but will have our long camper/trailer. Do you have enough room in your parking lot for it?
Yes we have multiple parking lots available, each with generous space.
